Terms of service.

The plain-English terms for using Landlord Compliance. Please read them before you subscribe.

1. Who we are

Landlord Compliance (llcomply.co.uk) is a product of Integrated Networks Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 10785449. Our registered office is Bury Lodge, Bury Road, Stowmarket, England, IP14 1JA. In these terms, “we” and “us” means Integrated Networks Limited, and “you” means the person or business using the service.

You can contact us at info@llcomply.co.uk.

2. What the service does, and what it doesn’t

Landlord Compliance helps you keep track of the compliance records you hold for your rental properties. You can store documents, record dates, and get reminders before things expire.

It does not provide legal advice and cannot confirm legal compliance. The dates, statuses, scores, guides and alerts are there to help you stay organised. They depend on the information you give us and on our general reading of the rules, which can change and can vary by council. You remain responsible for meeting all of your legal and regulatory obligations as a landlord. If you’re unsure what applies to you, take advice from a qualified professional.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the service. Please give us accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

You can only upload documents and information you’re entitled to use. Don’t use the service for anything unlawful, to upload harmful files, or to try to get into other people’s accounts or our systems.

4. Free trial

New accounts start with a free trial. We’ll tell you how long it lasts when you sign up. You don’t need a card to start a trial and you won’t be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

5. Paid plans and payment

Our plans and prices are shown on the pricing section of our website and on the billing page in your account. Plans are billed monthly in advance, in pounds sterling, starting on the day you subscribe. Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

If a payment fails, Stripe will try again over the following days. If it still can’t be collected, your subscription may end and your account will be treated as described in section 7.

We may change our prices. If we do, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before the new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your account. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t give refunds for part-months, except as set out below.

If you’re a consumer (using the service for personal rather than business purposes), you have the right to cancel within 14 days of first subscribing. Because the service starts straight away at your request, if you cancel in those 14 days we’ll refund what you paid minus a fair amount for the days you used. To use this right, email us at info@llcomply.co.uk.

7. When a trial or subscription ends

If your trial or paid plan ends and you haven’t chosen a plan, your account becomes read-only for 14 days. You can still view and download everything, but you can’t add or change records and reminders stop. After that the account is locked until you choose a plan, though you can still reach your billing page and download your documents. We don’t delete your records just because a plan ends.

8. Your data

The documents and information you put into Landlord Compliance stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run the service for you. You can download your documents at any time, and you can ask us to close your account and delete your data by emailing us.

How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy and cookies page.

9. Keeping the service running

We work hard to keep Landlord Compliance available, secure and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Reminder emails depend on email providers and on the dates you enter, so please don’t rely on them as your only record of a deadline. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that takes away something important you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Otherwise, we aren’t responsible for fines, penalties, lost rent, lost profits or other indirect losses, including any arising from a missed deadline or from relying on the service instead of checking your obligations. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

If you’re a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don’t affect, including that the service will be provided with reasonable care and skill.

11. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to download your documents.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
